One of the most important movements started by the Seventh-day Adventists is the revival and reformation one. Since 2010, the Adventists are involved in the task of giving special emphasis in the reading of the Bible, the writings of Ellen G. White, prayer and sharing the personal testimony. The purpose is to produce a revival of faith through the reformation of habits. Though the expression “revival and reformation” does not appear in the Bible, the concept is there. The first person who used this expression was Ellen G. White, and in different contexts, explained its need in within the church. At the same time, her writings point out that this revival and reformation should take place not only in the individuals, but it should involve the family and the church including its institutions. Therefore, changes that fit and harmonize with the Law of God must be done at every level of the church. In order to understand this concept which is described by Ellen G. White, her writings will be analyzed systematically considering the context of each quotation.

The importance of missionary commitment in our days is highlighted. Then, we proceed to identify some theories and dimensions of missionary commitment, in order to elaborate a context that allows us to see the relevance of missionary commitment for the church today. As a result of the analysis, we propose not only the importance of missionary commitment, but also its relevance for the IASD, by having a structure such as the Sabbath School that provides the conditions to strengthen and develop missionary commitment among church members.

Second, loyalty in the administration of tithes and offerings, which is part of the plan of God for salvation of the world.
