Those who study the end-time prophecies in Ellen G. Writings have read about the omega apostasy and the different hypothesis about the fulfillment of this prohecy. This article describes the identity of the omega apostasy by doing a historic-gramatical analysis of the five Ellen G. White declarations regarding the alpha and omega apostasies. These documents were sent specifically to medical leaders of the SDA Church, to Dr. Jhon Kellogg, and to Dr. A. J. Reed. Though there is no way to identify from grammar or history the time when this apostasy will take place, the experience during the alpha apostasy and the publishing of the book Living Temple are clear hints of the nature of this future apostasy.
Biblical church planting principles were of great importance in the New Testament, for example, the guidance and reliance on the Holy Spirit was essential for this purpose. If there is any clear principle in the book of Acts, it is that church planting is led by the Spirit. At the same time, it must be noticed that when a new church is planted, it is necessary to consider its strategic location for establishing new churches in the surrounding regions. The apostolic church of the New Testament looked for ways and places to establish new churches considering new local church leaders who gave vibrant support in the leadership, assessment, and doctrinal strengthening. A clear example of this is Jesus, the disciples and then apostle Paul. So, as it can be seen, church growth in the New Testament began with Jesus as the first missionary and continued with his disciples, whom he had formed. As the result, the apostolic church fulfilled the purpose of the given mission.
The idea of apostasy gets an important value since it refers to the spiritual situation of the nation. This destructive situation leads the people to lose the relationship with God. Thus, the wordplay return/apostate found in the book is based on the use of the Hebrew root שׁוּב and it provides valuable information con understand the continual pleading from God. This divine act looks for a better life perspective for the human being and it serves as a warning toward a change for the nation. This divine pleading occurs because of the moral degradation of the nation, which looks only for their own interests making the covenant terms be forgotten leading the nation toward ruin. Therefore, it is pertinent and important this study and it answers the following questions: What theological relevance has מְשׁוּבָה on the understanding of apostasy phenomenon? How the people responded to the continual pleading from God? What is the intention of Jeremiah by using מְשׁוּבָה?
The purpose of the study is to describe the fundamental concepts of the transformational leadership and its four dimensions, as they are developed by different authors. This description is compared with the biblical foundations of leadership and analyze if these two proposals about leadership are compatible and up to what point they are related.
