  1. Financial stewardship and its relationship to financial support, adminis-trative practices and faithfulness: a study in a sample of Adventist mem-bers in southeastern Peru

Financial stewardship and its relationship to financial support, administrative practices and faithfulness: a study in a sample of Adventist members in southeastern Peru. This study investigates the relationship between financial stewardship knowledge, commitment to church financial support, church administrative practices and faithfulness in tithe and offering giving in a sample of Adventist parishioners in southeastern Peru. With a quantitative descriptive correlational design, data were collected from 187 active members through a structured questionnaire. The results reveal that a deeper knowledge of the doctrinal principles of financial stewardship is significantly correlated with greater faithfulness in the giving of tithes and offerings (Rho = 0.592, p < 0.05). Likewise, commitment to church financial support and perceived ethical administrative practices also showed a positive correlation with financial faithfulness (Rho = 0.596 and Rho = 0.569, respectively). Taken together, the statistical analysis showed that these three variables are interrelated, suggesting the importance of promoting doctrinal education, strengthening spiritual commitment, and ensuring administrative transparency to foster greater economic participation in the Adventist community in southwestern Peru.
