Principles of discipleship in Exodus 18:19-23: A biblical-theological analysis. The topic of discipleship is very relevant in the 21st century. Although most biblical studies focus on the New Testament, it is also important to consider an Old Testament study of the same topic. A text that can help with this is Exodus 18:19-23, where Jethro's advice to a weary and overwhelmed Moses reveals very important principles that he employed with his followers, so much so that even in Jesus' time, the Pharisees considered themselves “disciples of Moses” (John 9:28). So how did Moses disciple? Are there principles of discipleship that can be drawn from his life that are relevant today? This article conducts a biblical-theological analysis of Exodus 18:19-23 in the historical context and structure of the biblical passage based on the Hebrew text to find the principles of discipleship.

Beginning and consolidation of Adventism in Soritor (1960-1980). Adventism in Peru has experienced rapid growth across various regions, a phenomenon that has been widely documented. However, in the San Martin region, particularly in the city of Soritor, there are no records detailing the factors that led to the onset and establishment of Adventism in that area. This study is based on an analysis of available literature, as well as testimonies from brethren who witnessed this historical process. Additionally, accounts have been gathered from pioneers and descendants of eyewitnesses, who have preserved the memory of the events that shaped the history of this church.
An approach to evangelism strategies for Islamic women. This article presents an approach to evangelism strategies aimed at Islamic women, a vulnerable social group within Islam. Analyzing Islamic doctrine, cultural traditions and the social role of women in Muslim societies, the study proposes five fundamental steps to approach these women with the Christian message. It stresses the importance of recognizing divine sovereignty over salvation, adapting the gospel to their cultural context and using a respectful approach that does not impose ideas, but allows for a gradual process of transformation. It also highlights the value of presenting Jesus as a defender of women's rights, marking a difference with Islamic regulations on the treatment of women.
