The beginning and development of the preaching of the gospel in Espinar went through several stages and processes that made possible the expansion of biblical truth inside and outside the province. Many of the pioneers were humble people, from the countryside, but consecrated and with a lot of faith. At the beginning they went through many difficulties, but as the church laid the foundations, the respect and consideration within the province of Espinar, both from its residents and its authorities, became more evident. Furthermore, many of those who initially declared themselves enemies of the Adventist Church later became baptized and took an active part in the church. Today, the Adventist Church in Espinar remains solid and its parishioners long to see the soon return of Christ.
This article is of a historical nature, since the objective of this work is to reconstruct the beginning and development of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Quechua area of Yauri, Espinar. The study is relevant because it will help to know and preserve the denominational history of the Adventist church in the province of Espinar between the years 1938 - 1977. To do this, the few existing sources and denominational documents will be reviewed. In order to reconstruct the story, the researcher has resorted to conducting interviews with direct actors and family members within the study period. Likewise, some photographs of the places and people in the interview will be attached.
